R.M. Shah Ltd is a family owned business, serving our customers with integrity for more than 55 years

With 3 generations of family history in the gemstone trade, we have a rich heritage and wealth of experience. Based in Hatton Garden, London we are one of the UK’s largest and most respected gemstone merchants.

We export to countries worldwide as well as supplying locally to Dealers, Jewellery manufacturers, Designers and Jewellers throughout the UK. We source our gemstones and diamonds from legitimate, ethical sources from around the world. Our knowledge and reputation allow us to bring our customers the very best gemstones at the most competitive prices.

Our logo represents and includes not only the company initials RMS but also the three main areas of the firm’s activities:

• The Emerald Cut at the bottom represents coloured stones,  
• The Diamond is representative of our wonderful range of round and fancy shaped Diamonds 
• The green colour is for Emeralds, our first step into the industry 55 years ago. 
• The vertical lines incorporating the letter M, represent the crystal formation of Rough Emerald as it is mined, highlighting our expertise and strength in the purchase & sale of Rough Gemstones, particularly Emeralds.

As well as the big 3, Emeralds, Rubies and Sapphires, we have a wonderful selection of top quality Aquamarines as well as beautiful Peridots, Amethyst, Spessartite & Tourmaline fancy shapes.

We also supply our customers with Old Cut, Rose Cut and Briolette Diamonds from our extensive range.
